Leyland will now mark from 07:00 to 8:30 and Congleton from 07:30 to 10:00 to enable the West Coast lorry to leave earlier and arrive in Portsmouth at the same time as the East Coast lorry

All Liberation news will be shared here:

Tuesday 25th July: The NFC pigeons at Sigogne  have been liberated at 06.30 into sunshine into a North West wind. The line of flight shows showers in places up to the Cherbourg peninsula. The channel sees 11 miles or more of visibility with North West winds. The UK is generally dry apart from a low area coming down into the northeast of the country later in the day. Good luck to all members. Steve White Race Advisor, Phil Leech Chief Convoyer.

Second update Mon 24th July: NFC Sigogne tomorrow sees winds north westerly 10 to 12 mph with showers in places. Hopefully, tomorrow sees the weather being kinder than it has been over the weekend and today. This message will be updated tomorrow morning once the latest line of flight forecast is generated. Steve White Race Advisor.

Update Mon 24th July: The NFC pigeons at Sigogne have been held over. The weather at the race point is not suitable for a liberation, and the line of flight again sees rain pushing down into the channel from the low depression the UK had over the weekend. We will update this message later tonight on what tomorrow brings. Steve White Race Advisor.

Mon 24th July: NFC Sigogne - The racepoint is in low cloud cover. A final decision will be made with a line of flight taken by 09:00hrs. Steve White Race Advisor.

Sun 23rd July: Unfortunately, the NFC pigeons at Sigogne have been held over. We have a weather front containing heavy rain in northern France that will be around all day, affecting any chance a liberation later in the morning. There is also a rain band in the north of the UK pushing down to the Midlands. This message will be updated again tomorrow morning. Steve White Race Advisor, Phil Leech Chief Convoyer.

Sat 22nd July: The NFC pigeons at Sigogne have been held over. Although there is fine weather in France, the UK sees a low-pressure area coming from the northwest containing heavy rain spreading eastwards, affecting most areas by lunchtime. This message will be updated again tomorrow morning. Steve White Race Advisor, Phil Leech Chief Convoyer.

Friday 21st July 2023: Birds are on site and have been fed and watered.

France will be in good weather all the way to the coast tomorrow with a South West wind. A low depression will come across the north west tonight and tomorrow in the UK, bringing with it areas of heavy rain, especially across Wales the South West, North West, and Central England. The South East will be mainly dry with a brisk southwest wind across the channel. This message will be updated tomorrow morning once the latest weather reports are taken. Steve White Race Advisor.
