03/07/21 @ 12:50 hrs.  The birds have been liberated at Guernsey at 12.45pm into sunshine and a 15mph South South West wind. Channel is clear with the South coast weather clearing as the birds travel onto the mainland. The UK has some showers, heavy in places and winds generally South, South West. Good luck to all. 03/07/21 @ 11:15 hrs.  Weather is very changeable, sun and cloud.  Strong South South West wind but unfortunately not getting a long enough liberation sky!

03/07/21 @ 10:30 hrs.  Weather has improved vastly, on Guernsey with clear blue skies.  Our Race Advisor is monitoring the situation in parts of the UK and we will update this message as soon as we receive further word.

03/07/21 @ 07:55 hrs.  Unfortunately the weather is not fit to liberate at present. The south coast is under heavy cloud and mist in large parts with the occasional downpour. 03/07/21 @ 06:23 hrs. Saturday 5am birds all fine.  Slight drizzle here similar to mainland, looking for break on channel which we could get around 10am?  New liberation point is far superior to old one, visability all round birds.  When liberated, they will fly inland for couple miles then they will head towards the next island, Sark, then possibly toward the Isle of Wight with South West wind.  Will update later.  Dom McCoy, Chief Convoyer.

02/07/21 @ 18:04 hrs. All waters topped up, birds fed. Lovely spot for liberation, golf course one side, sea and beach on the other.  We are at a new liberation point called Pembroke beach which is a much better liberation site, all open aspect, on the North of the island. 🌴
