The National Flying Club are holding a Committee meeting on the 8th of June to discuss the prospect of channel racing. The ultimate aim is to hold the first race from Messac on the 2nd of July with the very real possibility of holding the Grand National from Pau three weeks later. To facilitate this under the current regulations it may require the reluctant closure of some marking stations, with a view to those most strategically placed remaining open and the possibility of collaborations with other organisations. DEFRA registration numbers are beginning to come through now to those who have already applied, and we would encourage all members to make the appropriate preparations if they have not already done so. Should anyone require help through the application process, there are instruction videos available on the RPRA website produced by the RPRA Development Officer.
